The high output 122cm cutter deck soon cuts large areas of grass down to size. A twin cylinder Briggs & Stratton engine powering an infinitely variable hydrostatic transmission delivers smooth and controllable drive to the rear wheels. Controls are ergonomically designed and placed within easy reach of the operator. A fully adjustable seat and illuminated diagnostic display add to the driving experience. An audible alarm notifies the operator when the collector is full, however, when conditions are suitable collection and disposal of grass clippings can be eliminated by fitting the mulching plug supplied. Mulching grass is a great feature as it saves so much time. It can be more than 30% quicker as there is no stopping work to drive to the tip to empty clippings so this also results in a significant fuel saving. Mulching the grass allows the clippings to be recycled, improving the soil as they decompose forming a natural fertiliser high in potash and nitrogen. You will notice a marked improvement in your grass as this fertiliser takes effect over the course of the cutting season. You may well ask “Will I see the mulched grass?” The answer is “No!” Mulched clippings are blown down into the turf and are not noticeable provided the grass is cut regularly and not on the lowest setting. From fine lawns to unruly paddocks you can be confident that this tractor will take heavy workloads in its stride. This high specification garden tractor is suitable for lawns up to 5 acres. * TERMS & CONDITIONS APPLY MULCHING FUNCTION BRIGGS & STRATTON ENGINE 2019 MOUNTFIELD PRODUCT GUIDE 44
